I feel like it's hard to carry on my "regular life" when I know of somebody else who doesn't have their "regular life" anymore. I know of someone who recently lost children and it has just made any ramblings I can throw on the internet seem trivial and obnoxious. I remember after Lucy died I went back to the internet, to facebook specifically, and everything was the same. Nothing was the same for me, but on facebook there were still people posting pictures of their breakfast or posting a complaint to a particular bad driver. It just seemed inappropriate. It wasn't of course but I was sensitive. So I am back to post pictures of holiday festivities despite a heavy heart. Trivial busy work keeps me going.

I'm linking up with Jennifer at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.
I used to love board games. I don't think I do anymore.
I blame the kids for creating a stressful experience plus they cry when they lose and sometimes even when they win. Maybe when they are older we can get into it again.
I just renewed The Lego Movie Video Game for the 4th time at the library. Why didn't I just buy it? It feels too late to buy it now.
We went to Target for their 70% off Halloween clearance. I only wasted $14. But hopefully when I open my Halloween tub next year I'll be so excited I won't buy anything until it's all on sale again. That's the plan.
Oh yeah, I just decided to figure out Bloglovin because I'm sick of having too many bookmarks. They say I have to add this to my blog in order for them to find me? I don't know. Sounds like a ruse.

Not really. A little done. With Christmas Shopping. I ordered Guy's present which is a little ridiculous but I'm sure it'll be worth the price. I wanted to get him Legos with motors but something a little more versatile that the Lego Technic kits. I ordered the Simple and Motorized Mechanisms Base Set. It is the only thing we are getting him. I know he doesn't want it. He doesn't know it exists. I hope when he realizes what it can do he'll excuse me for not getting him any of the stuff he wanted. I'm not that fun.

Guy wanted to be Emmet from The Lego Movie for Halloween. As I was researching ideas for his costume I found this hoodie.
It was for sure easier and better looking than anything I could make. So I bought it for him and showed it to him two weeks before Halloween. He hasn't taken it off. Kids were saying "Why are you wearing your Halloween costume already?" and now they can ask him why he is still wearing it. Because he loves it! Most functional costume ever. If you can even call it a costume. It is just a hoodie.
