Airplane Trip

I took my three kiddos on an airplane all by myself.  It went well.  We even had a gentleman comment he didn't realize there were kids behind him the whole flight.  He might have just been really nice.

We went to Seaside, Oregon

I lost Daisy's hat on the beach somewhere.
If you ever see a manatee wearing a cap like this, it was probably stolen and I hope you'll do me a favor by calling the hat barer a sea cow.

Tillamook Cheese Factory - Tillamook, Oregon
All Guy talked about before going on this trip was the cheese factory.  When we got there he took a look around (5 minutes or less) and declared he was done at the cheese factory.  Maybe that's all he needed to take care of his curiosities?

Tapiola Park - Astoria, Oregon
Love this place.  Parks have gotten predictable to the point of almost being boring but this park was mostly original equipment.  This whole city is my favorite.  I want to live here.  In a house, not a park.  I also like all the bridges.  We were stopped at a bascule bridge to let a boat through.  I told Guy it was a road to the moon thinking I was being whimsical.  He was concerned for my logic and corrected me.  Sorry.

Great Wolf Lodge - Grand Mound, WA
Kiddos watching the animatronic singing show.  They watched it three times and were ready for more.

Guy went on every water slide.  He rates them all "Let's go again!"

Guy became a Master Magi while playing MagiQuest, no thanks to the assistance of Nels.  MagiQuest is a live-action psuedo-RPG.  I've never seen so many young gamers excited to climb stairs.  It was really great in a way but I felt like it was more story than game.  The game needs to involve more choices.

This was Nels favorite thing at Great Wolf except for the water slides he was not allowed on.  I loved this place.  I would love to go again.  Even little Daisy loved swimming and looking around.

Oregon Zoo - Portland, Oregon
I think the appeal in zoos is when you get to know the animals and these animals were all strangers to me so I can ramble off a list of zoos I like better - but it's all personal.  Thankfully, we got to meet up with the female cousins so they were more fun to observe since I'm kind of attached to them.
