Where have I been?

I haven't been posting often - so what's changed?

1. Guy is taking less naps and walking. He can tear apart the house in 10 seconds and he generally acts like he drank a gallon of Mountain Dew. He is lots of fun to play with and watch so I don't get much done.

2. Nine weeks pregnant! Started getting morning sickness a couple weeks ago. It's not bad, but it makes mornings tough. I'm not as sick as I was with Guy and for that I'm very thankful.

3. Trying to move. We are wanting to move pretty badly and so I sit around and think about it instead of actually doing stuff. I get anxious easily.

If most days end with the house being clean enough and everyone is fed, I consider it a success.

Guy's Shenanigans

During breakfast Guy is always such a little goofball. I think it's because his daddy is there to laugh at him.
The other day Guy disappeared and after much too long of silence I sneaked up on him to discover...he was reading a book?

Parenting Don'ts

Don't leave your kid alone with your lunch. I had lots of things to carry into the house and I always put Guy in the house first. Well I wasn't paying attention to the order in which I carried up the other things or I wouldn't have arranged for him to be alone with my cheeseburger.

The Zoo

We went to our tiny little Reno zoo today. The power was out so Guy couldn't watch his cartoons this morning so he needed to see Big Bird and Murray's Little Lamb.

This is a picture we took of a mirror.

Visiting with some friends. We saw them inside the cage but every time I got close to a good pic, a deer would eat Guy and I would have to pry him out of a slobbery mouth.

"Come back! I have some tasty little toes!"

Saying good bye to Mr. Tortoise.

Knitting

We're going to knit a hat for part of Guy's Halloween costume.
