A Little Gentleman

I don't have any pics to share but today at Gymboree Guy was a little gentleman. He would pick up toys and offer them to the other little ones. Then he poked a little girl on the nose. It was a polite gesture. He was trying to compliment her on her nice nose.

State Fair

We took Guy to the state fair last night. It was opening night with free parking and admission. We had to take Guy on the carousel because I said so. Guy was pretty good with sitting on the horses, but during the last half of the ride with me he just wanted to hug - it's his way of saying "Thanks!"

Rubber Stamping

I went to a Rubber Stamping party last week and made this...I think it's swell. I mailed it to my grandma. I hope to make more cards but I'm not as good without instructions.

I was going to post something else, but my computer is just full of pictures of Guy. And I just bumped into one I love. A friend of mine took this picture of the handsome fellow. I can't help but think "How luck am I?" I spend my days with the coolest person in the world! Guy is so silly and funny and happy. He is just wonderful. In fact, I might just go watch him sleep...

Guy's Afternoon at the Marina

The marina is 4 miles from our place. It has lifeguards, a playground, and a snow cone stand. Aside from the food, it's all free.

This afternoon I took Guy to the marina to have fun. When we went swimming I SWEAR I saw a fish the size of Guy swim past us and it frightened me. I can't imagine a fish that big being in there so I asked a kid. Then I listened forever about how fishing is cool and I should try it sometime and some other off-topic stuff. So we stayed in the shallow water after not getting an answer. I won't let a fish eat my baby!

We had a coupon for a free lemonade at the snack bar. It tasted like lemonade KoolAid. So Guy drank some and played with the lemon. He played with the straw, too. Don't forget the ice cubes! He also played with those.
After our drink, we went swimming. Guy would let go of me and try to walk through the water. He ate lots of dirt doing that.

Did I say we had fun or what?

Tackle It Tuesday: Baby Clothes

Today I organized Guy's clothes. I had them organized in the colored boxes above his hangers by type. A box for pants and box for PJs, etc. That doesn't work. I reorganized them into sizes today.

After reorganizing them I made a list of things he will need soon. Here's the list:
12-18 months
T-Shirts/Long Sleeve Shirts
Black Long Sleeved Shirt (For Halloween Costume)
Black Pants (For Halloween Costume)
Black Hat (For Halloween Costume)
18-24 months
Robeez Shoes

Our Camping Adventure

We were in Oregon visiting family and camping for a week and a half. That's were I've been.

Camping was colder than I expected so we weren't prepared. Guy wore the same jacket for days and it was covered in old food and dirt. It was gross.

Here's some pictures from Silver Springs in Sublimity, Oregon:

Guy having some snow cone. It was a little cold.

So I know this picture isn't very good. But during a hikes lunch I wanted to take a picture of us. I hopped over a creek, through some big rocks, up a slick rock wall to rest the camera on a dangerously goofy spot and then I had ten seconds to get back to my seat. It was hard. You can't even see Guy.
